Dr. Linka Matos

Dr. Linka Matos is a double-board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management specialist whose career combines advanced biomedical science with the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbal therapeutics. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus, completed her Anesthesiology Residency and Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico Law School. She also holds certifications in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbal Medicine from the University of California, Irvine's Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Matos merges the precision of interventional pain medicine with the holistic and restorative philosophy of Eastern healing. She has been pioneering biological therapies since 2010, beginning with autologous regenerative treatments including PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), BMAC (Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate), and SVF (Stromal Vascular Fraction) for joints, spine, and aesthetic applications. In 2017, she became one of the first physicians to advance spine and skull-base interventions using stem cell and exosome therapies, setting new standards for regenerative medicine in both pain management and aesthetic care. Her protocols continue to influence global regenerative practices today.

As an international consultant, Dr. Matos advises medical institutions, regenerative clinics, and wellness centers worldwide. Her work focuses on the design and implementation of advanced cellular, peptide, PRP, and IV infusion programs, as well as regulatory guidance, clinical training, and research development. Through this consulting work, she continues to help shape the ethical, scientific, and educational frameworks that define modern regenerative medicine.

Her research experience includes institutional studies on the use of stem cells for severe COVID-19 illness under IRB approval, as well as earlier investigations in neuropathic pain and cellular neurophysiology. She remains committed to bridging scientific discovery with real-world clinical application.

Dr. Matos has traveled to over 22 countries, training physicians internationally, treating patients across multiple continents, and delivered more than 50 lectures and workshops on regenerative medicine, exosomes, peptides, and integrative cellular therapies.

Her humanitarian work includes extensive volunteer medical relief following Hurricane Maria, the Puerto Rico earthquakes, and the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to ongoing contributions to local foundations that support health, education, and the arts.

Recipient of numerous distinctions, including the Health Sciences Award (Bogotá, 2025), World's Top 100 Doctor to Doctor (Sardinia, 2024), and multiple Top Doctor and Who's Who honors. Dr. Matos continues to advance a global model of medicine that integrates biotechnology, cellular science, ethics, and holistic healing to restore vitality from the inside out.
